As an artist, my objective is to put myself into my art, hoping to be political, emotional and expressive while ultimately working for well-informed simplicity. Language and literature motivate me to express who I am. My diverse artistic interests help me offer a translation of life experiences my audience may feel and take with them.
My inspiration comes from people, words, everyday experiences, and my own internal monologue. I experiment with a variety of styles, color, and media, and I hope to bring complex forms, shapes, and lines into an easily understood expression. And with the inspiration and affection of dear friends and respected teachers I'm committed to the academic, personal, and professional pursuit of art.
